Our refinishing and cosmetic services are designed for customers who want their firearm to look better, match a specific build theme, improve grip texture, add identification markings, or complete NFA engraving requirements.
Services include single-color refinishing, select small-part refinishing, laser engraving, NFA engraving, and pistol frame stippling. Custom patterns, camouflage, distressed finishes, logos, themes, and specialty layouts are quoted individually.
All pricing is starting pricing. Final price may vary based on firearm condition, disassembly requirements, color selection, pattern complexity, surface prep, and customer-requested design work.

Phalanx Tactical offers NFA engraving for customers completing approved NFA builds, including SBR, SBS, suppressor, and other applicable NFA-related engraving needs. Customers are responsible for providing the exact engraving information required for their firearm, trust, or individual filing.
Customer is responsible for providing accurate engraving text. Phalanx Tactical does not provide legal advice and does not determine what information should appear on customer NFA items. Please bring the exact information from your approved paperwork or trust documentation.
ATF marking rules require required firearm identification markings to be placed in a manner that is legible, conspicuous, and not readily removed. Required markings must meet a minimum depth of .003 inch, and serial numbers or associated license numbers have additional size requirements.

This service is intended for the removal, blending, or correction of non-required cosmetic markings, previous custom engraving, surface blemishes, shallow cosmetic defects, and unwanted decorative marks before refinishing. This service is ideal for customers who want to clean up an older receiver, remove previous personalization, prepare a firearm for a new Cerakote finish, or achieve a cleaner custom-build appearance.

Phalanx Tactical does not remove, alter, obscure, relocate, or cover serial numbers or legally required firearm identification markings. Cosmetic receiver modification is limited to non-regulated markings, decorative engraving, surface blemishes, previous personalization, and finish-related cosmetic work. Customer firearms will be inspected before service acceptance.

Prices listed are starting prices and may change based on firearm condition, coating removal, prep work, disassembly requirements, part complexity, and requested design work.
Single solid color pricing applies unless otherwise stated. Multi-color work, camouflage, distressed finishes, custom themes, logos, and complex patterns require a custom quote.
All firearms must be unloaded before drop-off. Firearms will be inspected at intake before work begins.
Customer-provided parts, accessories, or components must be clean and ready for service. Additional cleaning, degreasing, or oil removal may result in added labor charges.
